Rings of Radiance

Hello everyone! :D

I am happy to announce that my newest mobile game, Rings of Radiance, has been released for iPhones on the app store. Rings of Radiance is a game of speed and skill! As your token moves through the rings, you will have to carefully time your finger to tap the ring that glowed; every correctly tapped ring earns you a point. Beware: every time you earn a point, your token begins to move faster! Use the points that you've earned to purchase new tokens, each with their own unique powers.

Can you tap your way to victory?

I didn't exactly provide any feedback on the beta testing, but it was fun hen and I'm sure it'll be fun now! Good work XStar!

Downloaded it, wrote a review(which I can't see on the App Store for some reason), and played until I got a score of 11. :P

Gah! My best on the beta was 16 or so, although once I bought diamonds it helped tonnes

My scores is currently embarrassing low, so I won't say it.

P.S. I reviewed it. Here's a hint on what I rated it: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

The only thing I would change is to make it a bit kinder on where you tap.

P.P.S. I might of spent $3 on the game, just becuase A. it will convince you to add more features (long term idea: skins, like a smiley face skin or the best skin, a Vez'nan skin) B. Awesome game C. I have like $10 in Apple credit and I have nothing to do with it.

Totally worth it by the way.

I don't deny that having it be successful does encourage me to develop it further. :)

There will be an update coming out next week if all goes well, perhaps the next if all does not. This will include a couple of minor bug fixes and some options regarding music; two new choices for background music will be added into the game! :D

I cannot say that I do; my compositional abilities aren't quite at that level. All of the music I do get is from open and free sources, all of which are mentioned appropriately in the credits. :)

Just a suggestion for a future update: multiple background colors you can switch around.

It isn't that hard to make is it (sorry I know basically how simple programming works but my knowledge is pretty limited)?

The music (I think) speeds up with more success by the player, is it proprtipnal to the speed of the disc?

Could you find more music to do this with? Perhaps as different modes of difficulty. I imagine that Kachaturian's Sabre Dance will be damn difficult.

Background colors are in consideration, however my focus right now is on adding in token colors. Once that's done, I'll add in matching backgrounds. :)

The music does indeed speed up as time goes on, however it is proportional to the time played and not to the speed of the disc. For both of the new soundtracks, this was implemented for the play screen with their respective songs. :D

While these will be the only two soundtracks added for a while (I cannot say how long), I do have further plans to expand the selections available after this coming update. :)

The aforementioned update has finally arrived! Two new soundtracks of music were added into the game and a couple of bugs have been fixed. :D
