Indie Games to watch out for

I am a big fan of the indie game development scene (I'm something of an indie dev myself).

Here is a list of potentially great indie games whose progress I follow:
Check them out and support them if you can:

CRAWL WEBSITE

MOONHUNTERS WEBSITE

REASSEMBLY WEBSITE | DEMO

DELVER'S DROP WEBSITE

Indie means independent. A game not made by a big studio like EA, generally with a small budget.

Tadpole Treble. It's currently on Steam Greenlight.
Some people believe football is a matter of life and death. I am very disappointed with this attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.

A villain dies a thousand times, a hero only once.

These games really have potential! I especially like the concept of the first, for -- if it is executed properly -- the game could continue about indefinitely. :D

Never heard of it. Can you find a video and dev site link for it? You can add a video here using the BBCode [youtube] tag.

Here's the code I used to embed the crawl video:
Code: Select all

Here's a few more!

CODE SPELLS WEBSITE

Code Spells is especially interesting! It leverages a Scratch-like interface to literally build custom spells.

BEDLAM WEBSITE

This one is chock full of 80's goodness! Reminiscent of Mad Max, Fist of the North Star etc.

APOTHEON WEBSITE

Great art direction on this one. Very unique. The story reminds me of a Bitmap Brothers game called Gods.

Chapter 1
Chapter 2
Chapter 3
He's currently thinking of remaking all the chapters set in a new world with sentiments rather than elements, and adding the other planned chapters to the new game. The new world looks like this (but this doesn't have anything to do with MARDEK, it's just the engine):

His sites:
Alora Fane
Fig Hunter
Anyway, I really liked Aegis Defenders, Moon Hunters and Apotheon trailers I'm really looking forward to playing them. Looking awesome.

Crawl looks incredible.
Edit: Same for Moonhunters.
Edit: Reassembly and Delver's Drop look pretty cool too.
Edit: So does Duelyst.

Yeah, I played the first one and found it amazing. The alpha version is promising. Looking forward to the release.
