I started with DosBox and run some reeeeeally old classics (like Prehistoric 2) and now I'm playing Pokemon Red on GameBoy Color emulator. Game of my childhood, amazing! Just look at the sidebar at http://www.emulator-zone.com and see how many emulators are available. There are even experimental emulators for modern consoles (emulators for XBOX One or PS4 probably won't show up soon, however I've seen emulators for X360 or even PS2).
