Favourite RPG game of all time?

The Elder Scrolls III - Morrowind for me, it's just so immersive and deep game, the character creation menu is very detailed and you can choose from preset classes or create an entirely new class by putting major, minor skills. The graphics aren't that bad (for a 2002 game) and have actually aged really well. The combat system is very difficult to get along with because you have to be really skilled (and I mean REALLY skilled) to hit the enemy as usually only 1 in 3-4 hits the enemy. The world is just the best thing in the game. It seems like a completely different reality compared to the other Elder Scrolls games' ones. The plants, trees, animals are completely new and everything in the world (which is around 6 square miles) seems to have been made by the develeopers with the greatest of details. Almost none of the dungeons are random generated and the quests are pretty original. So.. yeah ALL HAIL MORROWIND!

I've never played any Elder Scrolls except for Skyrim, but Morrowind sounds like an improvement, especially since I hear that you can craft your own spells.

Bloodborne or Dark Souls would be my favorite RPG, but I also have a lot of fun in War in the North.

The legend of zelda, the wind waker. I love the graphics and the charming characters and the gameplay and the combat and the items and putting innocent fairies in jars and the music and the story and links facial expressions and the stage design and sailing the seas and the bosses and the atmosphere and most of all, links grandmother. She is always so sweet an cute-ish. I almost bursted to tears when she was sleeping alone in her house and said she was lonely in her sleep because I couldn't so anything. I felt so sorry for her.

I don't really play rpg's. I dunno.

The first 20 levels I could play in the WoW demo were pretty ****ing sweet, though. You can't complain when you've got a dorf with a gun.

Getting into RPGs isn't as easy as FPS or other popular genres, but since you're a fan of Kingdom Rush (Ironhead was a good name but nobody ever used it) you'll enjoy the strategic thinking. One thing to know about RPGs is that your character the first time around is going to stink. Fortunately, playing again means that you know all of the game's workings from the start, so you can build an OP character and feel like a God.

I'd recommend any games that bring in RPG elements but aren't strictly RPG, like any DMC games.
