Brief description on what it does. As in what it shoots, what it trains, any side-affects associated with the main attack, etc.

Now here are my towers:

Siege Ballista
Shoots a gigantic arrow.
Damage: 80-160
Range: Short
Fire Rate: Very Slow

Skill 1: Pierce- Allows the arrow to continue through units.
Level 1: Continue through 1 enemies.
Level 2: Continue through 2 enemies.
Level 3: Continue through 3 enemies.

Skill 2: Chained Arrow- Chains some enemies rendering them immobile.
Level 1: 2 seconds; 10 second cooldown; 2 enemies
Level 2: 4 seconds; 10 second cooldown; 3 enemies
Level 3: 6 seconds; 10 second cooldown; 4 enemies


Cavalry Barracks
Spawns mounted units that attack with spears; units have extra movement speed when changing rally points.
Damage: 15-20
Health: 240
Spawn Time: 10 seconds
Armor: Med

Skill 1: Charge- Horseman charges at an enemy, damaging and knocking them back.
Level 1: 20-25 damage; 8 second cooldown
Level 2: 25-30 damage; knockback increased slightly
Level 3: 30 -35 damage; knockback increased slightly

Skill 2: Concussion- Unit strikes at enemy with with his spear butt, causing the enemy to be stunned.
Level 1: 1 second; 10 second cooldown
Level 2: 1.5 seconds
Level 3: 2 seconds

Skill 3: Chivalry- Reduces spawn time of horsemen. (make's absolutely no sense, but I'm still going for it)
Level 1: 9
Level 2: 8
Level 3: 7


Priest Temple
Shoots rays of sunlight at enemies; all units inside the range gain weak regeneration that is active in battle as well.
Damage: 40-70
Range: Great
Fire Rate: Slow

Skill 1: Guardian Angel- Summons an angel to the battlefield.
Level 1: Health: 500; Damage: 35-65 (ranged); heal ability that heals all nearby units (cooldown 10 seconds)
Level 2: Health: 600; Damage: 40-70
Level 3: Health: 700; Damage: 45-75

Skill 2: Blinding Light- Shines light on a few enemies causing them to have less accuracy
Level 1: 3 enemies; 30% accuracy loss for 5 seconds
Level 2: 4 enemies; 40% accuracy loss
Level 3: 5 enemies; 50% accuracy loss


Acid Factory
Throws containers filled with acid that break and create small pools of acid that stays on field for 3 seconds; also slows down enemies by 25%.
Damage: 25 DPS
Range: Long
Fire Rate: Very Slow

Skill 1: Corrosion- Enemies that walk on the acid get a DoT affect placed on them
Level 1: 2 DPS for 10 seconds
Level 2: 3 DPS for 10 seconds
Level 3: 4 DPS for 10 seconds

Skill 2: Dissolve- Enemies that walk on the acid get part of their armor destroyed for a while.
Level 1: 40% armor dissolved; lasts 8 seconds
Level 2: 60% armor dissolved; lasts 7 seconds
Level 3: 80% armor dissolved; lasts 6 seconds

Other rules

You cannot vote for your own tower when voting starts.

Only of each tower type; you don't have to do all of them. For example, you can do 1 mage advancement and 1 archer advancement, but you cannot do 2 archer advancements.

I don't think it's too complicated, although I do think you might
want to limit this to one tower per player. Otherwise we might get
so many towers that nobody feels like reading about all of them +
deciding which one he likes best. Also, are we going to use the
same voting system as for the tower elimination game or not?

Spawns 2 nimble Elfish warriors who have long, sharp blades.
Health: 100
Spawn Time: 10 seconds
Armor: low

Skill 1: Elfish archers: 2 archers who shoot arrows from the barracks tower
Level 1: 5 damage, speed medium
Level 2: 7 damage
Level 3: 10 damage

Skill 3: Dodge attack: can dodge attacks every 10 seconds
Level 1: 8 second cooldown
Level 2: can bypass stronger enemies 6 second cooldown
Level 3: can dazzle enemies for 2 seconds

Skill 2: Instant Kill: can deal 75 damage every 30 seconds
Level 1: 85 damage, 28 second cooldown
Level 2: 90 damage, 25 second cooldown
Level 3: 100 damage, 22 second cooldown

For the voting, I think we should do it the way suin did his. Though we don't' have much people anymore (there's like a total of 12 active users), so I'm not really sure. We'll decide on that one more entires come in.

Name: Flame Thrower
A dragon in a cage gets poked with a stick by dwarves to spit fire at enemies
Damage: 50-70
Range: very short
Fire Rate: very fast
Skill 1: napalm (not from big bertha) sets fire to the ground cool down-20 secs.
Level 1: duration 5 secs. damage=25-40
Level 2: damage=45-50
Level 3: duration 7 secs.

Skill 2: incinerate
Level 1: kills enemy instantly cooldown=25 secs.
Level 2: cooldown=20 secs.

I think it's a good idea. How about 4 towers per person and give people a week to submit ideas and then start contest maybe in a playoff contest to divide massive amount of towers. In four groups and winner of each group goes to finals? Then finals has 4 towers people can vote on. Make the 4 groups divided by the most similar towers grouped together. All barracks in one group, all artillery in another, ect. What do you guys think?

Skill 1: Bones of steel: adds armor
Level 1: adds low armor
Level 2: adds medium armor

Skill 2:Bone meal: skeletons have more health
Level 1: 110 health
Level 2: 120 health
Level 3: 125 health

Skill 3: fear: enemies lose health point within the rally area of this tower
Level 1:enemies instantly lose 10 HP within rally area

Skill 1: Time Freeze: Freezes time within range Doesn't effect flying units
Level 1: cool down: 20 secs. Duration: 5 secs.
Level 2: Duration: 7 secs.
Level 3: Does 10 DPS

Skill 2: Freedom: friendly ground soldiers can move at a normal speed, attack at normal rate
Level 1: says above
Level 2: soldiers not affected by time freeze

skill 1:the strike adds a giant cannon that launches a masive cannonball
level 1:cooldown 15 secs. damage 150-250
level 2:cooldown 10 secs.damage 200-300

skill 2:cannon barrage shoots a 8 mini cannonballs at the same time
level 1:shoots 8 mini cannonballs cooldown 30 secs. damage 20-40 each mini cannonball
level 2:shoots 10 mini cannonballs cooldown 27 secs. damage 25-45 each mini cannonball
level 3:shoots 12 mini cannonballs cooldown 25 secs. damage 30-50 each mini cannonball

I agree with Julian that every candidate should submit no more than 1 tower so as to ensure the quality.

Dwarven Helicopter Battalion

Train 3 dwarven pilots steering their assault helicopters to smash the flying enemies and attack the ground ones with their machineguns

Damage: 20-30(anti-air), 10-15(anti-ground)
Range: small(fire range), extremely large(rally range)
Fire Rate: fast(anti-air), normal(anti-ground)

Skill 1: Electro Magnetic Interference - confuses the nearby flying enemies with electromagnet and keep them down to ground for a while so that they can be targeted by melee units. Cool Down: 6 seconds
Level 1: 2 second duration
Level 2: 4 second duration
Level 3: 6 second duration

Skill 2: Multiple Targeting - allows those crazy dwarves to target multiple objects with missiles for one shot. Cool Down: 6 seconds
Level 1: 2 enemies
Level 2: 4 enemies
Level 3: 6 enemies

VERMIN TOWER
Commanded by a vermin master, looks like the Pied Piper of Hamelin who plays a flute or a scottish war bagpipe.
Skill 1: Filled Moat: The tower has a broad moat that surrounds the tower crossing the roads. Its greenish waters, which eventually turn redish, are filled with Strangler snakes/electric eels (animations similar to wrath of the forest/tesla's static field) and Crocodiles.
Enemies must cross the moat which slows them down, snakes and eels attack inside the moat, the player manages crocodiles by means of a rally-point (may attack either within the moat or from the road)
Strangler snakes (Damage 20; Life 20; Block 1s; Respawn 7s)
Electric eels (Damage 30; Life 10; Respawn 5s)
Crocodiles (Damage 40; Life 100; Respawn 15s)
Skill 2: Luring tune: the beast master plays the bagpipe every 25 seconds attracting rats from all over the kingdom (nice animation of giant rats similar to wulfs coming out of the terrain borders: forests, barns, outer limits..)
Also any KR animal stops 2 seconds before the tower enticed by the effect of the magic melody.
Duration of the melody effect: 10s
Skill 3: Falconer: giant falcon or eagle with rally-point sort of a mini-hero allowing the player to target enemies like the premium lightning bolt (without instant kill just indicating the zone to attack), this bird of prey speeds up its flight dropping out of the air in free fall to attack enemies, when inactive it rests upon the master's falconry glove.
Falcon (Damage 200; Life 150; Respawn 15s; Cooldown/resting: 20s)

Shade Crypt: Spawns 4 (or however many) ghostly looking creatures that use their powers to slow enemies. They cannot block or be attacked due to their lack of existence, but instead latch on to the nearest enemy until said enemy leaves the rally range or dies. While latched the movement and attack speed of non-boss units is reduced by 25%. The Shades movement speed would be very slow.

Health: Inf. (Unless banished)
Damage: None
Rally Range: Long
Spawn time: 10-15 seconds obviously your choice.
Armor: None
Can be banished by magic using and/or support characters at short range. (Shaman,Necromancer, Demon Lord)
Slowing does not stack

Skill 1: Soul Eater :
Level 1 is Latched units take 2 DPS.
Level 2 is 5 DPS.

Skill 2: Unholy Aura :
Level 1 is when latched, Shades emit a very short ranged aura that slows surrounding units by 10%.

Skill 3: Utter Darkness :
Level 1 is Shades have a 10% chance to black out the vision of any new target, only once steering them backwards a random distance. Maybe even some friendly fire if the unit crosses some of his own.

A quick question, can we submit one in each category(mage, archer, etc) still? Or are we limited to one? Just to be sure so I don't submit too many :)

Damage: 30 - 60

Fire Rate: Average

Skill 1: Chaos: Confuses an enemy, making it attack its allies for a while.
Level 1: lasts 5 seconds; cast every 12 seconds
Level 2: lasts 5 seconds; cast every 10 seconds
Level 3: lasts 5 seconds; cast every 8 seconds

Skill 2: Telekinesis: Confuses an enemy, making it walk backwards for a while.
Level 1: lasts 3 seconds; cast every 6 seconds
Level 2: lasts 4 seconds; cast every 6 seconds
Level 3: lasts 5 seconds; cast every 6 seconds
