The Timekeeper Hero

by Sinque Productions » Sun Apr 17, 2016 6:35 am

I decided to make another unique hero, so:

Galiminax The Timekeeper (needs a real name)
A magician who uses time to his advantage.

Role: Support

Stats:
HP: 60 (+10) [150)
Damage: N/A
Armor: Low
Magic Resist: Low
Regen: 50% (very high)
Speed: Instant
Respawn: 20 seconds

Abilities:
Walk Back 1/2/2 (3 second Cool down)
-Attack where enemies walk back in time for 1/2/3 seconds.
Re-attack 1/1/1 (20 second cool down)
-Shoots a vortex out and enemy damage that was done to enemies in the vortex will be reshoot 1/2/3 times again (increase firing speed by 1/2/3 to any enemies in the vortex).
-Vortex last for 10/12/15 seconds.
Time Travel 2/2/2 (30 second cool down)
-Goes back into time reappearing again (so there is two of The Timekeeper)
-Lasts for 20 seconds
-Can do all the abilities without interfering with other's cool down.
Not Attacked 1/1/2 (12 second cool down)
-un-damages (heals) for 150/200/250 (spread across all allies) health per second and unkills (brings back to life) 1/2/3 allies.
-Last for 5/7/10 seconds
Time Increase 2/3/3 (15 second cool down)
-Puts a spell on the strongest enemy in a small area that speeds up how fast they die by 40%/50%60% (makes them have a 40%/50%/60% damage intake increase)

The Timekeeper does no damage but turns back time. His strengths are all in his abilities.
He levels up from damage done by allies that helped with.

P.S. None of his abilities work on bosses.

Feedback and change ideas are appreciated
Thanks :D

Having no way to deal damage would make it a bit difficult for him to gain EXP but I guess having an increased rate with his powers would work.
Time travel I like, as while it works like crystallites, it fits the theme very well, saying that, crystallites works so that you can have three of the hero, so this power may want a slightly lowered cooldown, just to 30/35 seconds, somewhere around there
I assume Walk Back is a teleport, in which case the three second cooldown is rather OP. An AOE teleport would need at least a ten second cooldown. A single target teleport could have a three second cooldown though
If re-attack requires the towers to stop their targeting systems it could mess up if an enemy was near the exit, but if it makes it so the damage they dealt is dealt again, it would be cool, but hard to balance. Perhaps if a circle appeared in an area, and any damage dealt in that circle over 5 seconds would be dealt again over the map it would be cool. And stacking thunderbolts *gasp* But yeah I can't fully understand t from the description
Not attacked seems more directly supportive. As opposed to passively supportive like the other powers, but I guess fits the theme. I think reviving three troops or healing for 300 damage would be enough for a ten second cooldown, in fact I'd personally use a 12 second one.
If time increase works like Hinter's markX, then it's cool

Before I give a full review, I'd like to say this: The Timekeeper is the most OP hero ever. He can stall even bosses infinitely due to virtual invinicibility (instant respawn).

I made it so his abilities don't work on bosses. Is he still OP?

Yes, he is. Infinite stalling is OP on its own, he doesn't even need abilities to be the best hero. Also, against even normal enemies, it's OP. ;)

Ok, he can't stall and can't attack so that part of him is gone (not that it actually existed). I decreased the walk back usage time, as it is meant to be his "main attack".

What do you mean it never existed? It clearly did. ;)

It would be better if the timekeeper could have increased respawn time to make him less OP

He doesn't have respawn time.

Which is why he's OP. His fragility is hardly a weakness.

OK. He has a respawn time of 20 seconds (it makes sense because you can't turn back time if your dead). His health is incredible low, and his regen is reduced. So he's kill able, but only by enemies that can do burst damge, or by lots of ranged enemies.
He can block again, but he won't defend himself.

Is he pretty balanced now?
Thanks by the way.

I'd say he's balanced now.
Although respawn could be 18 seconds

OK, I will decrease it.
Anything else? (better abilities, more rebalancing, etc.)
Thanks for all the feedback :D

Yea, Thanks. It's just the name of a god from a short story that I wrote, Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have thought of it...
