A futuristic tank would be cooler IMO. So, high-tech!

Low-tech all the way. Would be superfun to have a nifty dwarven siege hero under our disposal.

I'm not even sure what is the border between 'low tech' and 'high tech'. What would a Victorian era Magnificent Flying Machine fall into? I think it should be more specific, to which exact historical period the technology started appearing in.

Pretty sure high-tech really just means our current age of technology and everything above that, while low-tech means everything below that. So Victorian era/Steampunk stuff would be classified as low-tech.

Eh, it's not a real in-game voting, so we can go for whatever we want. I vote high-tech to see where this will lead us. :)

Surely if hi-tech is considered spaceships, then every level of technology from wooden siege weaponry up to where we are now is considered low-tech. You need a bit more definition of the stages in between if this is the case.

Dummies' guide to fantasy or fiction labels:

LOW-TECH
I Ancient Fantasy
II Regular Fantasy(High, low, etc.)
III DaVinciPunk(Manual mechanisms out of wood)
IV ClockPunk(Manual mechanisms out of cogs and stuff)
V SteamPunk(Automated mechanisms out of cogs and stuff)

MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. EITHER LOW OR HIGH
VI DieselPunk(WWI and WWII with more muh gick thrown in)
VII Urban Fantasy(Modern day, basically)

HIGH-TECH
VIII CyberPunk(Basically the world a few years months from now on)
IX AtomPunk/Raygun Gothic(Asimov's wet dreams)
X Arthur C. Clarke's most depraved speculative fetish fanfics go in this category.

SPOOK ZONE

XI Lovecraft's spooky pantheon, assuming Clarke's self-made gods out of technology
XII Image Now you're playing with power.

You didn't even get the periods right:
Stone Punk (Stone Age)
Sandal Punk (Bronze and Iron Age)
High Fantasy/Heroic Fantasy/Dungeon Punk (Medieval)
Clock Punk (Renaissance/Baroque)
Cattle Punk (Frontier era)
Wooden Ships and Iron Men (Age of Sail)
Steam Punk (Victorian Era)
Diesel Punk (1920s - 1940s)
Raygun Gothic, aka Atom Punk (1940s - 1960s)
Gothic Punk/Urban Fantasy
Cyberpunk (1980s - 1990s)
Post-Cyberpunk (Twenty Minutes into the Future)
Bio Punk (Twenty Minutes into the Future)
The Future (2200s - 3000s)
Standard Sci-Fi Setting/Space Opera (Recycled, IN SPACE!)
And then there are stuff that could be any one of these or don't really fit into them at all...

Annnnd the winner is.... Low tech!!! :hero:
The options are;

Tanks and transformers aren't low tech, but I'll vote for a transformer, because there's a lot you can do with that using the KR Hero formula.

Hmmm. My initial thought was tank, if that was something Dwarven, some kind of Hulkbuster/Lennox from Evolve suit (too close to Hacksaw?) or a machine, with a mounted ballista or catapult as a ranged attack would be cool.

Ballista or catapult on its own is a little dull, basically long range artillery, and how would it handle melee?
Transformer seems... idk. If you are genuinely going to have a vehicle turn into a machine, it would have to be like a horse and carriage

SO I choose tank, but hopefully tank means less caterpillar tracks and more Hacksaw like steam powered madness.
