I've played first three missions, looks good so far but I guess it will take some time for me to fully adapt to it.

Sure, no problem but I'm having a problem in finding encyclopedia. Is it even available on Iron Marines?

As a beta tester, I can confirm there is no encyclopedia. Rip.

We do have a list of enemies though, and I can share that:

Fell:
Fellplague
Vilerunner
Fellswarm: Can spawn in very large numbers, low health
Etherleech: Does not attack units, can stun towers can steal Etherwatts from bases, is very slow, has moderately high health
Spitterbug: Very long range Fell that deals high damage.
Direbomber: Can launch attacks that go over barriers
Mindbane: Can dash to enemies, has an AOE attack that pierces armor
Fellwing: Can spawn in very large numbers, can fly, low health
Blightmother: Can fly, has high health, spawns Fellwings on death
Hammergrub: Incredibly high health, but also very slow. Prioritizes Towers. Tramples and ignores all other units.
Grimcrusher: Can spawn from rocks. High health and armor high damage but non armor piercing.

Peripheroids:
Jackbots: Come in large numbers, laser attacks can pierce armor. Gains bonus attack speed in numbers and has multiple interactions with other Peripheroid enemies. Countered by mostly anything. Can counter Rangers, since they ignore their armor and Hoorah ability.
Oculus/Oculi: Come in large numbers, laser attacks can pierce armor, can take the bodies of fallen Jackbots. Countered by Engineers, but will often require a tanker.
Inductors: Can enter “lightning” mode, where they don’t take damage and cannot be attacked, can deal AOE damage around themselves
Nortron: Vanilla melee bot, except big. Can spin around, which makes them spin around.
System Monitor: Has a wide variety of powerful abilities, each as irritating as the last: can repair Assembly Centers, can heal Jackbots, can launch target-locked missiles that can’t be avoided/can be used from a very long range.
Suppressor: Can deal immense damage to a single unit, often instakilling them. Countered by Diplomats and Snipers. Diplomats’ shield can prevent the shot from killing the unit. Dropping your hero next to the suppressor is also a quick way of neutralizing it.
Taskmaster: Can spawn Oculi, can zap units in an AOE, counts as structures. **HARD-COUNTERED BY ENGINEERS,** who can both cleanly eliminate the Oculi with their chain-damage and stun-lock the Taskmaster with their structure-sabotage ability. **HARD-COUNTERS SNIPERS,** who cannot instakill--or even deal significant damage to--the Taskmaster. They also cannot eliminate the Oculi fast enough.
Surge Protectors: Can give himself and nearby Jackbots a Forcefield that works like the Diplomats’, has IMMENSE amounts of health: the most out of any normal enemy in Iron Marines. Often requires a substantially large amount of firepower in order to be eliminated. Countered by Snipers, who can simply instakill the Surge Protector.
Spammer: Can launch Inductors. Runs away when attacked. Flying.

I can't seem to get the game in high quality- it seems to be in low quality regardless making the game look awful. This is on an android tablet. Is it broken?? Or just not optimised for tablets?? The quality setting doesn't seem to be making the quality better. It's just the gameplay in bad quality and I know that it can be better from the youtube videos i've seen (like the bruno and locky one).

I had the same problem at first, but I think you should play with caution. I usually take the first base and then protect for a little while also upgrading my towers. After that, just split some of your marines - three for defense, three for offense with your hero.

Game lags a little to me when I play. I guess my mobile phone is not simply good enough, but it's still playable.

Not enjoying this and I'll give it a while because, unfamiliarity.
There are no helpful hints; I have no *clue* what any of the icons are for, the fact that attacks are going on off-screen while I'm someplace else makes this annoying as hell. I supposedly get free stuff but can't figure out how to use it. Don't seem to generate enough money to do anything except spawn a set of 3 soldiers or sharpshooters, they die, then I'm sunk. (Level 3 is as far as I've gotten). Hero's abilities are Greek to me. I recognize similarities to KR - the training of the hero etc, the achievements. But totally not digging the inability to plan in advance.

The lack of info is intentional and it's my biggest issue with the game
