For anyone who's wondering, Iron Marines costs $5, and if you want all the heroes it's another $23.

Its the same with Kingdom Rush 1, 2, 3. When the Steam version comes out, it will probably cost $9.99 and all the heroes will be free (at least it was this way with the Kingdom Rush steam versions).

If they even release a Steam version. If they do, I'll definitely regret buying it on mobile.

A steam version will happen, likely later this year at best.

You also get 3 free heroes (4 including the promotion) and the game is infinitely beatable without them. In fact Paragon, a free hero, and Fate, who is currently free with the promotion, are really cool and I don't use any of the paid heroes because they're so fun.

Also you get far more of the gems equivalent in this game, there's no need to pay for credits or whatever they're called. It may seem a little worse than KR but I'd say IM is better for IAP because the heroes are even more secondary than in Kingdom Rush. The initial price is higher, I concede that.

I'm just letting people know. I've already just about beat the game using only the free heroes, but I was still a little sad to find out some of the heroes cost more than the game itself. I always enjoyed playing around with the various heroes and seeing their cool abilities and whatnot in the KR games, but they're always SO expensive for such a little thing.

That's always been the case with Ironhide games though, the games don't cost the world and there are heroes within that do
