The last legionnaire upgrade

Hello, I did all the upgrades of the legionnaire but the last one didn't seem to work. Indeed, I had a gargoyle near the last point, so I invoked the legionnaires, but they did nothing to kill the flying enemies. Is this normal?

Was there an upgrade level limit? If so then the ability to throw spears would not activate.

Remember that on Iron and Heroic modes, there is an upgrade limit (like luxsum said) for each stage .

the reinforcements also need time to activate when they are summoned.
i think they will be inactive for 0.5 to 1 sec when they are just summoned.

Oh this limitation works also for the abilities, I didn't know that, thanks ^^ I understand now. That's okay, I discovered how to give a hand to the mage tower to kill all the flying enemies. A hard nut to crack this level, especially for this reason!
