Rules
- One player gives 1 KR-related word at a time to be guessed, and after it is guessed correctly, another word is given until 3 have been guessed. The last person to guess a letter successfully is now going to give another set of 3 words to be guessed.
- You may not double post/vote any letters. You each guess 1 letter from the alphabet and wait for another person to guess before making another guess. Alternatively, if nobody guesses within 24 hours, feel free to post another guess.
- You will get 3 stars to start off with. Should the letter guessed not be in the word(s), 1 star is deducted. Losing all 3 eliminates you from that guessing session until another person gives another set of 3 words. To keep track of this, place this underneath each guess: and replace a star with a skull ( ) for each reduction of a star.
- Don't make things technical. Have a reasonable word and avoid long phrases such as multi-word hero quotes. 3-word maximum per round, totaling to 9 words maximum if you really want to make it that difficult. Also, put a space between each underscore per letter, and go to a new line for a new word, to make things easy on the eyes.
- Avoid confusion by checking the KR Wiki for information. Things like Arcane Wizard work because that is the name on the wiki, but Arcane Tower and Arcane Mage for instance will not work.
- If you think you know the word, try and guess it, but getting it wrong automatically deducts all of your currently held stars.
For clarification on a few unforeseen situations that happened in the first thread, here are some addendums:
- Apostrophes take up a space and must be guessed.
- If someone guesses the word/phrase but misspells it, then the thinker posts another word/phrase. The misspelled word/phrase does not count as one of the thinker’s three words/phrases, and the misspelling guesser does not lose any stars.
- If the thinker misspells the word/phrase or puts the wrong number of spaces for the word/phrase, then the thinker forfeits that word/phrase and posts another word/phrase. The mispelled/miscounted word/phrase counts as one of the thinker’s three words/phrases.
- Do not use generic adjectives or nouns unless it is the exact name of the word/phrase. Use “Sylvan Elf Hall,” not “Sylvan.” Use “Babarian Mead Hall,” not “Mead Hall.” “Burning Torment” is fair game as it is the exact name.
- The wiki is the final arbiter in disagreements on spelling, full names, quotes, etc. However, since some Vengeance pages are likely not fully fleshed out yet, the game itself is the final arbiter for KRV related words/phrases, except in the case of spoken words (unless one has a sound file/bite to support one’s claim). (This can change if RaZoR or sunnydaler think it an unnecessary addendum.)
- Already guessed letters not in the word/phrase will be put under the word in “()”.
- If other unforeseen cases occur, a solution to them will be added to these addendums after the word/phrase has been guessed (or has been failed to be guessed).
