Because dwarves don't have their game, and we already have tons of dwarfish towers, units and a couple of heroes in first two KRs,which are mostly about humans.

Runin isn't a hero. He's a SECONDARY hero. There is a difference. He can't be leveled and he only appears in one level.

There aren't any dwarves in KRO, so why would there be a dwarf hero?

While I would also like more Dwarven heroes, because, hey, Dwarves are badass, as I've said before and as Finwer repeated, Elves are the main characters of KR:O, yet their very group of Heroes, the most famous people in their army, only has two Elves. This is bad in comparison to KR:F and KR, since they are the human-themed games, and half their heroes are humans.

What BBB said sort of makes me rethink the new Elven hero, though (though I wholeheartedly disagree with how Elves and Humans are "bound by the same things). The only problem I see with a new creature hero is that Ironhide seems to have a thing for creatures (Ashbite, Bravebark, Grawl, Karkinos, Kahz, etc), and might add one in the future regardless of how the contest turns out. But, yeah, otherwise, he has a point.

"Too many Elves?"

There are three heroes in all of KR that are Elves. Yet there are fifteen heroes who are Humans.

KR:O is the Elven-themed game, yet the number of Human heroes in it is equal to the number of Elven heroes in it.

Like Finwer said, the main reason I want another Elven hero before a creature hero or another human hero is because the Elves, being the main characters of KR:O, should be prioritized first. I don't want most of the heroes in KR:O to be elves, obviously, but seeing the current hero room, there really, really should be more.

Also, you're generalizing the Elves, like everyone else. If the new hero is an elf, then he/she shouldn't be another Eridan. Like Zonoro said, he/she could be a sky-themed warrior or a barbarian, and it would all be cool so long as he was done right.
Point is, you're thinking of the elves in a wrong way.

Elves need a chance, but prioritized above all else? Give some other things a chance, too! Elves with unique powers would be cool, but they are still close to humans, and would be bound by similar things that people would be. Creatures can do whatever they want, and I think they should be at the same level of priority as Elves. We may need more Elven heroes, but this is an opportunity that we shouldn't waste to meet just that meager goal.

I agree. If we had thoroughly followed the "elf" template for heroes, we never would have been given heroes like Sha'tra, Phoenix, or Bravebark. This hero creation event has the potential to produce some incredibly unique heroes.

Aren't we forgetting Reg'son?

Nah, he's a Twilight Elf. Pretty different.

A Twilight Elf is an elf, just as an American Human is a human.

Nopenope.

If we based the heroes' races off of their similar body parts, then Lucrezia, Ignus and Elora can be considered human as well.

The Twilight Elves and the original Elves work differently. It's not just a matter of how they look. In fact, although it's never explicitly stated, the Twilight Elves are a reference to the Drow, who are sort of like the Elven version of Undead humans. But the Undead aren't specifically seen as humans, just a sub-class of them.

It's sort of like with the Savages from KR:F. They're technically human, but are so different from them because they're stronger and cannibalistic, that they're not really considered humans anymore.

A Twilight Elf is and elf because is says so in the name! Twilight ELF.

I won't say no to the new hero being an elf, as long as it's something we have never seen before in regards to abilities and playstyle.

I just want a unique, fun, and creative hero. Elf or not, that's my main goal. It's just that with creatures, there are more opportunities for unique, fun, and creative ideas. Elves are just 1 race, while the possibility of using a fantasy beast are infinite if we can come up with some kind of new species to use. ;)

I agree with BBB over here. Hero thats not like Alric, who is powerful yet has quite a boring playstyle. More like......Sha'tra? Bonehart? Those heroes were really fun. What about a demon hero? Like what a suggested long ago

What about a lizard hero, a centaur, a griffin, a chimaera, etc. (I really like Greek mythology :P )
