It looks like some sort of stamppot (mashed potatoes with chopped vegetables mashed together) with meatballs and gravy. Do you know where the film was made? I think it might be 'boerenkool', which is a typical Dutch dish, but it's usually served with a smoked sausage instead of meatballs, so I'm not sure.

The bad camera quality makes it quite hard to see properly.

It's Pie, Mashed potato, mushy peas and gravy. The pie you can see in the bottom right corner, you can tell what it is from the curved shape and crimped edge. The rest doesn't need explaining. I can assure you it is yummy, British gravy is way better than the white creamy blasphemy that the US calls gravy, and mushy peas have to be tried to be understood. Of course the pie depends on what type of pie it is, but for a cafe like that it's probably steak and onion or steak and kidney.

Look for beef or steak pie recipes. A lot will also contain ale, but you should be able to find a good simple steak pie recipe. Mashed potato is simple, you shouldn't need a guide for that. Make sure you search for traditional mushy peas and traditional beef gravy. Together it's a hearty, filling meal very popular in British pubs.

It looks to me like a steak in sauce. I looks delicious though.

Hey ToomyReese40, if you plan to stay please read this.

What you just did is called "bumping", bring up old threads to the front pages. In the future, please don't do it.

No need to feel bad, I did it to on my first post too.

It's a bot. Just look at its signature. Also, what it said was just a copy of what someone said earlier with slightly worse grammar. ;)

Currently, since we have no active admin, no.
The mods can move/delete bot threads, but otherwise...
KRA is now complete.

Ironically you just replied to this a month after it was initially bumped too. There was no reason for you to point out the rule breaking, a month after it was done.

Oh, I thought it said Jan. 05 which is today, when it actually said Dec. 05.
Sorry, woops.
