After all these months of grinding and battling, it has led to this. The Grand Evil looms above you, the final stepping stone in saving the realm from being corrupted and forever destroyed.
But you know you cannot win.
You futilely attack it, but it's thick, evil flesh stands against them like steel against a pebble. It takes its turn and easily pierces trough your legendary armor, shattering it into magical bits. It tears more so through your flesh, and you fall down with slivers of life remaining.
Yet it decides to torture you. Using it's necromantic magic, it keeps you in what could barely be kept a coma, for you to see the forests burnt, the seas dried and the mountains leveled. It has achieved it's destruction, and your last moment is shrouded by this thought - of the greatest failure.
But you wake up one second time, in mere townsman garments. Over you stands a being of shimmering blue, friendly and calming energy.
"You have failed not only your realm, but also Us. Fear not, for we have transported the survivors to a new one. It is now your duty to pay this mistake with the blood of evil in this one."
You black out again, waking up in the middle of a city, in which you integrate quite well. You learn more about the world, it's colossal size, and the cold war between good an evil, on one side, Fairies, Elves and Angels, and on the other Goblins, Undead, and Demons.
It is up to you whether you pick to fulfill the task the being gave you or to renounce good for riches and glory.
Who knows, maybe one day you'll have enough money to start a little state of your own.

Basically, it's an idle game with factions. Six with different powers, and two different sets of buildings.
