The Dark Elves

My opinion on the dark elves: an overused idea that is only getting a mention just for the sake of mentioning them. We already have the elves, we don't need a new race that are basically the same only stronger and looks slightly different.

Disagree. The elves are overused, but drow are not. They're almost never used, and while they might resemble elves, they have a completely different alignement, different powers, and different habitat.

There have always been several adaptations on the "elf", each having unique aspects in their culture, abilities, and otherwise. Of course, this varies from game to game, or story to story, but in almost every case there is more than just elves. The idea of elven races required modification throughout time, lest there would be no interest left in having them exist at all.

Totally agree with you guys.And what's wrong in having two thing that are pretty much the same? KR already haves Jungle Spiders and Forest Spiders,Goblinoid Shamans and Jungle Shamans etc.
Anyways it was just a suggestion and is not like the devs included the drow race in the game (witch, by the way,it would be pretty awesome).

I think, techincally I was, but in certain stories that people wrote, I took on varying aspects.

This sets it in stone.
