Labyrinth

A map with multiple pathways. Each pathway crosses and intersects each other many times. Walls activate that block off one road forcing the enemy onto another. This happens many times and in the heat of battle can get pretty hectic with enemies switching between roads many times, sometimes getting a shortcut to your flag or getting sent on a longer journey.

Just think about that maze in the harry potter films.

Players could just keep the walls aimed to the longest paths at all times for maximum effectiveness and make the whole point of having options pointless. This can be fixed by having penatlies for keeping the walls locked in the same position (5 Nights at Freddy's, anyone?), such as blocking the range of towers or automatically moving every couple of seconds. Also, it would be awesome if flying enemies trolled the player by bypassing these walls. ;)

I don't think the players activate the walls. :?

Having walls that you can control yourself would be a better suggestion, though, :)

I suppose... But the player could take advantage of it. If the walls change on their own randomly, it puts more pressure on the player, i think itd be a lot more fun too, have the gnomes push the walls
