Unnofficial Kingdom Rush TCG

I used to make my own trading cards with my friends in middle school. i was wondering if anyone would like to devise a (unnofficial)trading card game for Kingdom Rush. We could make them printable with rules so anyone could play. Their are enough heroes, enemies, allies, and towers that each deck (if we want) could have different cards and such. Spells too? And we could just reuse the art from the games, too. I just thought this would be a cool project for the community to work on. So if we did it, everyone would have access to every card, meaning that the only draw back would be balancing. Like say 3 heroes/bosses per deck and yatyat. Just a thought. Cool if it amounted to something. :)

Well I was thinking it would be a grid based game. You would get 3 towers to start with, a champion (hero/boss) and some minions. You would first set up your side with available towers. each tower would have different ranges to play off. You would be able to upgrade the towers later into the game. The goal of the game is to get your units into the enemies opposing goal and destroying it. You can position some units offensively and others defensively. They would use mana or something to summon minions. Bigger/better minions would cost more. Better attack/Hp/speed/and special effects (plus armor/magical resistances). There could also by spells for you to cast. I am problably copying most TCGs with this but I hope some stuff is creative. Like a turnbased fantasy chess Rpg. :D

Anybody heard of top trumps?
This could easily be used with KRF and KR enemies, using speed, armour level, health and damage.
Soccer is awesome, so is KR

I would SO buy this if it was ever sold. But since it's free, why not make it? I think that an RPG style could be fun, but harder for players new to the RPG scene. Maybe start off with a damage cycle.
There are 4 types:

Archers, Soldiers (barracks), Artillery, and Mages.

Archers beat Soldiers.

Soldiers beat Mages.

Mages beat Artillery.

Artillery beats Archers.

Towers that don't affect each other positively or negatively do neutral damage.

Each tower level has a damage output. Level one barracks does 1x damage to a mage, while a level two does 2x damage.
But if towers are the same level, it does equal damage. (Level three baracks does 1x damage to level three mage.)
However, neutral towers always do 1x damage to each other.

Enemies, or units can be drawn from a pile, and do a certain amount of damage to a tower card based on their ranking (1-5 depending on strengths) but dice are rolled to see who goes first. The higher number gets to go first. If a tower is higher, it may attack and stop the enemy. If an enemy attacks first, it attacks, then the tower goes. Attack goes until one card loses all hp.



That's all I have for now. Let me know what ya think! It may be confusing in some parts, sorry. I may make a video to explain.

I quite like your ideas Hunterninjacat, but in my eyes it should definitely be:

Soldiers beat Archers. (because archers do not pierce armor)

That would work. At least some actually understands my ideas. I think I will go ahead and make a set, and post them up on my future website. It'll have rules and things of that sort. If only ironhide made an online TGC app.

I would really like to work on this I have a ton of ideas for it like SPELLS they would be Reinforcements , RoF , Lightning , Pestilance and more that people could come up with . You have to come up with a way to encorparate enemies and towers mabye you use towers to defend and enemies to attack . You would be able to have 1 hero and 1 boss your boss was part of you assalt deck ( or your enemy deck ) and your hero was part of you defence deck ( Tower Deck ) I feel that we should not have barracks and instead just use them like enemies . If people manage to pull this of its going to be amazing

Ok, the first cards are almost done. Just wondering are we all working together on an RPG, Board Game, or just a Trading Card Game? These cards should technically work for all three, but I would have to adjust the HP, Attack, and Strengths/Weaknesses.
