I would SO buy this if it was ever sold. But since it's free, why not make it? I think that an RPG style could be fun, but harder for players new to the RPG scene. Maybe start off with a damage cycle.
There are 4 types:
Archers, Soldiers (barracks), Artillery, and Mages.
Archers beat Soldiers.
Soldiers beat Mages.
Mages beat Artillery.
Artillery beats Archers.
Towers that don't affect each other positively or negatively do neutral damage.
Each tower level has a damage output. Level one barracks does 1x damage to a mage, while a level two does 2x damage.
But if towers are the same level, it does equal damage. (Level three baracks does 1x damage to level three mage.)
However, neutral towers always do 1x damage to each other.
Enemies, or units can be drawn from a pile, and do a certain amount of damage to a tower card based on their ranking (1-5 depending on strengths) but dice are rolled to see who goes first. The higher number gets to go first. If a tower is higher, it may attack and stop the enemy. If an enemy attacks first, it attacks, then the tower goes. Attack goes until one card loses all hp.
