While I like the candidates in one way or another, I'm going to vote for Ravenzilla. I think he'd be a good mod. My first indication of this is his signature statement. That and his overall openness to others. It's strange, but in the short time he's been here, he reminds me of me in some ways. If he were a girl, I'd ask if I could come over and pet her poodle.

I may be in the minority here, but I think the role of moderator; in leiu of of the current mod team able or informed enough to make the decision themsleves; that the position should be voted for by the people who post in this forum the most, and that person offered the position to see if they accept. Asking people to post why they deserve it is only going to get a load of posts with people scraping the barrel for reasons why they 'deserve' the post. It should go to someone who is respected, popular and actually deserving of the post for reasons beyond them wanting it.

This may seem harsh, but i've modded and admined on forums long enough to know that mods shouldn't choose themselves, but be chosen by their peers. I'm sure that others with experience feel the same.

While this would probably be the best way to find the best moderator, it would also most probably end up in someone who doesn't have the time for the task.

The way we are doing it, you'll choose the one you think will be the best between motivated people to do it. Hopefully The next mod will be great
