Dwarven Renegades Campaign Idea
You see, four or five generations ago, the Dwarves ruled the land all over, while the humans were just a small little speck of a "country" which was constantly tormented by the dwarves. When a deadly plague that propagated through that great dwarven kingdom called Thumdaria devastated its citizens, the humans (who were immune to that disease) stormed through Thumdaria, enslaving or converting many dwarves on the way, and conquering a big fat rich chunk of land for themselves. Nowadays, the Dwarves have pretty much forgotten about this, and they are good allies with the humans. BUT...
Some of the direct ancestors of the dwarven warriors in the time when the humans rose still worship their ancestors, and, in their deepest depths of heart, yearn for the destruction of the humans. Of course, they're all rather dumb, but the Dwarves have refused to attack their own people. Which means...
