We send our entry to Cheesecake in a private message, so only the host sees our entry. When all entries are submitted, a new topic is made with each entry posted anonymously, and the vote is done through that (entry 1, entry 2, entry 3, etc)

Because we're voting for the idea, not our favourite person. If Someone really popular entered, people may vote for their entry to try and get on their good side, whilst someone who may not be liked as much wouldn't get as many votes, even if their idea was the best of the bunch.
