I mean multicoloured energy wrapping around his leg, as opposed to a multicoloured groin itself.

Writers block really is delightfully annoying. I will push forwards and try and get three half finished heroes out in the next week or so.

With a triumphant crash (and a triple post) comes Bruunhilde, an actress playing a Valkyrie who has to actually be a Valkyrie.

I kid you not: Ring Cycle has to be the single funniest ability I've ever read about. Absolutely loved it, and KR needs stuff as funny as that.

Ignoring balance, she's a nicely unique hero. Her ranged attack being singing every 1.5 seconds put me off, and seeing that all of the abilities were focused on that is just a personal reason why I don't like it, because I don't want to constantly hear singing from the hero during battle, but without it, it would lose it's aesthetic, thus being a lose-lose situation. Similar to how JB just doesn't like non-humanoid heroes, I just don't like idea of a hero singing. You still did a good job, Kingmaker. :)

Thank you, my other thought was a DWAARP style AoE but it would need a longer cool down, also the note wouldn't be some kind of piercing shriek, more a quiet "la" that wouldn't be more interfering than the, rustle thwack of a weirdwood

It's a pretty good idea, but it does seem very similar to the Opera Singer Tower I made you. ;)
(But I did make that tower for you,so that's totally fine. :D )

Yeah, but I was a little stuck, I couldn't get half of each to work and xstar had a full on Valkyrie, so I had to have an actress/opera singer. I also added as many quotes and opera references as I could

Thackus the Orc Gladiator, recently freed from the arena, has joined us for vengeance against those who caused his capture.

Slight rename so I can keep Bowie but not be constrained to "odd" heroes.

Also I appear to have gone over 500 posts without noticing and am now closer to 600. Go me, I guess.

Thanks, I wasn't sure how to incorporate "no I am Spartacus" in there somewhere, but wasn't certain.

Damage buff to nearby troops wouldn't fit the concept, so I chose why the slaves did I am Spartacus anyway: to be punished/damaged equally. Maybe the hero spell shouldn't effect allied troops :/

It should deal half damage to allies and no damage to Thackus. :)

The lore got off to a nice start, detailing what some of the workings of orcs are in their society, and grew on me as it continued to talk about the specific hero's background. I find it to be your strongest attribute for all of your heroes. :D

His stats are pretty much a more durable Denas with basic damage that could almost rival Bruce. He will need a very long respawn time and heal rate to compensate for such a thing, because he is a brutal fighter. I imagine that he would be like the Dwarven heroes in BFME, having the best stats in the game but taking forever to recover after receiving a beating. But, for now, he's more like one of the OP custom heroes. ;)

His skills are really good. All of them do something powerful in a creative way, and he seems more and more brutal because of them, while still sticking to the theme. My gripes are that "The Boar" is excessive, giving him a chance to stun for more damage and increasing his overall damage as he gets hurt. I'd prefer one or the other. The other issue is that the skills have very high numbers with very short cooldowns, making them OP.

Otherwise, he has very cool ideas integrated in a nice, cohesive way that will look extremely cool in-game.

Why thank you, I wasn't thinking in terms of BFME but yeah Dwarves makes sense, I'll try to tone down some of the numbers, but when I got them all to a "balanced point" the numbers didn't fit together.

I didn't see that issue with "The Boar", I was trying to convey a Razorboar charge with the stun :/ I'll get rid of the stun

Also thanks about the lore, it's the first and last thing that I do, getting the concept from an idea then adapting that story to fit what I've made
P.S.: Have you figured out who it is?

I know the rules on necromancy, but the reason this thread died out is because I've not updated it. If the conversation should have died out, someone please notify me.

Oh, hang on, it's late. I'll upload this now and the actual hero tomorrow morning
