It's been a labour of love, but I've added in Naemon the forsaken.
He has a slightly longer lore than my heroes, so I have put it after his stats/powers so you can read them first and read the lore if you want to.

Even though each and every ability of his is game-breaking levels of OP, they are really cool and his lore is enticing. Good job. :D

Yippee!
*runs through the garden like an idiot waving arms around*

I'll try and reduce some on the OPness. Also re-reading the lore I need to add that Naemon was a test in becoming the first Pillager. Kieran is someone we know. And if you didn't guess Vanzen then jeez.

I also made a guess of about 40 years between KRO and KR, but that's only based on Denas and so that Kieran can age correctly for when he next arrives.

I'm genuinely grinning from ear to ear, thank you. My primary school teacher really taught descriptive writing well, so I think that's it. And I spend far too long thinking about things.

I just wanted to think of a name beginning with Ki and saw my friend Kieran walk past (this was at school).

It's sort of funny though, I can think up and write a character (Naemon) in two days and add lore after four more. A week.
After about a month I have 3 heroes that should have been the first 3 here and I can't fit them in. All 3 of the current heroes are side-thoughts that I pounced on when trying to get another hero to work.

Updated with Diana the Host and (Finally) Manto the Prayer.

Many thanks to BBB for creative input and help in finally bringing Manto to life.

The passive is so OP. Getting an extra 500 health upon death and respawning in 1 second for surviving is so easy with all that HP. The skills are confusing to me, so could you explain how they work in more detail for me?

As she has the lowest health pool of any hero, Diana's whole tactic revolves around her death and transformation into a Drider, at which point she becomes absolutely OP. (Sort of intentionally, she's had a hard life and is trapped in a life/death cycle to feed an artificial symbiotic life form, cut her some slack!)

I also wanted to flip life and death. Phoenix is the first hero to do something in death, I wanted Diana's state to make her almost want you to kill her, as she can see the abomination she has become. (And she is more useful to you dead) That or her "Death" is when most heroes would be "Alive": They are doing the most damage. In life she may as well be a gravestone (I'll mega nerf her regular damage)

She doesn't gain 500 health, thats just what the Drider has. I chose the starting stats as they are a normal Drider's stats, so I think the nerfing laser of death will target the skill that improves on it. Up to 650 health, and lower damage, or just a damage buff (after those heroes, I thought that would be boring)
I put the 1 second respawn to prevent the Drider from essentially living forever, especially as life-stealing affects it also, however I think a cap on it's existence and THEN a 10/15 second respawn should balance a little more. That and not allowing it to heal out of combat.

Let's see, Toxic relationship essentially gives Diana negative regeneration, but it will take 4 minutes to kill her on it's own and reduces respawn time.
Inevitable shift OP-ishly buffs the Drider.
Alone in the dark is a mini Guardian Lions (only with Spiders, as the Aracnomancer cloak still has eggs in it), however Diana can target disabled enemies, unlike Guardian Lions where (I think) nothing can shoot in those swirly Twisters.
Almost Lethal is a single target attack that heals the user, with a small chance to drain the target to 1HP, (mimicking what the Symbiote did to Diana)
Symbiotic Evolution is the strangest and one I just sort of made up. It puts a patch on the floor that drains HP, and attacks 5 times. I'll probably change it to one of the other.

What I mean by gaining is that, even with her health depleted, she will transform, which makes her have 500 health as opposed to the 0 when she died, making it pretty much an automatic heal. That's why it's so OP.

I could leave Toxic Relationship unupgraded, as the 1 second respawn for keeping her alive long enough makes the respawn boost pointless, and only the negative regen would come into effect.

I have nothing new to say about stat boosts, though at least this one introduces the concept of the transformation to the player.

Alone in the Dark is cool, though an odd name. ;)

Almost Lethal is almost balanced, but it may as well be an instakill along with a full heal, for only an 18 second recharge. The chance is pretty high for how strong the effect is and the cooldown, and the ability itself without the chance is comparatively stronger than other single-target abilities.

The hero spell is awesome. :D

Re: The Oddities

I think I've missed some details.

The "black liquid" is a artifically intelligent life form made from the mish-mash of magic at the Shrine of Elynie that has latched onto Diana as she has a shard of the Tear of Elynie inside of her.

I didn't mean 1 second of Drider, I meant Drider death, 1 second timer, Diana respawns.

I've confused myself over the 1 second regen so lets start again.Think of the Drider form as a normal hero. 500/550/600/650 health, 10-20/20-30/30-40/40-50? damage and no armour, around Bruce level/slightly OP. As well as that is where things get OP and confusing. In death, the Drider becomes a weakling with meagre damage and low health, but medium armour. Upon death of the wealking, there is a respawn period of 15 seconds, at which point the Drider respawns.

Now swap Drider and weakling and you've got what I think I made in this hero.

Don't really like Manto much, but I really, really like Diana. The concept of a dual hero seems really cool, and most of her abilities are original and fun. I mostly like Symbiotic Evolution, because of how unique it looks.

I'm glad you like Diana, once I had thought of a Renegade hero I started getting into why some of the proud Twilight Elves would leave (what propaganda tells them) a glorious and just campaign, if not for watching their friends being turned into a giant spider person. From there on it all sort of fit.
Symbiotic Evolution was the one that took the least time to think up, I though it was the worst :S

What don't you like about Manto? That's fine, but I just want to know, is it powers, lore, concept or what? Part of my brain just told me to make a stick insect/preying mantis hero

Oh, I just sort of naturally have a liking for humanoid heroes, and a dislike for insectoid heroes. I don't know. I have to like a hero's concept before I can truly appreciate them in combat. In my opinion, Manto's abilities are just as cool as Diana's--Viral Contagion seems like a superfun ability to use, albeit really OP for that 20 second cooldown, but, I don't know, I just don't find the concept of a praying mantis alongside human knights all that interesting.

All shall tremble when she walks before us, Queen Amarthael, descendant of Elynie, wrathful defender of our realm, and harnessing the unkempt power of Nature, our ruler walks among us to bring terror to our enemies.

I can't be arsed to edit, but if she's dead when her hero spell is used it just deals a boring 400/500/600/700 AoE damage.

She's not really an oddity, but I don't want to remove the Bowie and her whole Phoenix Force/Multiple Personalities offsets her a little from your regular hero.

I like the concept a lot. I've been harboring the idea of a hero whose abilities all change their playstyle momentarily and need to be carefully chosen, but figured it wouldn't work well in the game. Here, I see how you go for area damage, durability, increased tower power, or single-target damage output. I have no idea how to make sure she goes into the right mode or how the game would know what I'm planning on doing with the hero, so I think this was the most vital part of the hero that was left out, or at least under-explained.

The powers themselves are nifty, being really cool and having clear purposes. However, some are clearly better than others. Dealing 60 area damage around her is almost as good against one enemy taking 100 damage per attack, so with just 2 enemies it automatically becomes better. Similarly, boosting towers near her allows them to deal massive amounts of damage to the frontal enemies, which would very much outclass the single damage of her ranged ability.

If there was only one thing I could say that you've amazed me with, it would be the hero spell. Way to improve Heavenly Chaos. ;) I also sense more BFME2 stuff, specifically from the Edain Mod with Galadriel.

The first form seems much better than the 2nd option, in my opinion, and I think they should both be equal, with the third option being the strongest one of all, even though it isn't. Just add some balancing tweaks to help form her playstyle and figure out how to manage those different forms, and she'll be your magnum opus. :hero:

Why thank you.

Other inspirations are Emma Frost and Jean Grey of the X-Men. (And Obviously Cate Blanchett's Galadriel)

I was trying to balance the different forms, but decided to just put it out like this. The concept was the main thing I wanted.

In Edain rejecting the ring buffs all your troops and grants you continued use of Mirkwood troops and Ents. Embracing the Ring debuffs your troops but gives her massively damaging AoE. Embrace was easy to bring across, but making somehting up for reject was annoying and meant what I did was UP.

Changes on the way :yey:

A Galadriel hero would be so fantastically awesome, I'm not quite sure what to make of the abilities but I love the description. I'm gonna start on my own Elora/Galadriel hero if that's okay

Go for it!

The abilities essentially make her into a single type of hero

Tank, area damage dealer, single target damage dealer/duellist and support hero.

Stat changes will be a few minutes, but in terms of what BBB said about how she would use the forms:

It takes into account the enemies on the screen generally.
If a larger enemy is coming towards her, it will toss up between duellist and tank. It will go more to tank as her health decreases.
If a group of smaller enemies is on the way: area damage
If nothing, or smaler, faster enemies: support.

It would all be very complex, but the main variable is enemy health and her own health. Less health of her and more of enemy: tank or telepath
Full health, weaker enemies: Support or area.
