i took mine from the encyclopedia section of the game.

On these forums, just beneath the Ironhide logo (which can be found in the top left corner) there is a link called 'User Control Panel'. Click it, then click the 'Profile' tab. Click 'Edit avatar' and upload your avatar =) Maximum dimensions; width: 120 pixels, height: 120 pixels.

And personally I make a screenshot, upload it and post it here. I guess everyone does it that way.
I use 'Paint' to select only the gamescreen itself and then I use tinypic.com to upload it.
I guess you might need more information... feel free to ask ^^

Most keyboards contain a 'print screen' (or 'PrtSc' for short) key. If you press this, all you can see on your screen on that very moment will be copied. You can paste in it for example, Paint, edit it, and upload it.

Well that makes it a bit more complicated.
There are programs to do the job as well though.

but you can of course search for another one if you don't like this one :-)

I've made a screenshot of kingdomrush.com, put it in GIMP (something like free PhotoShop), got rid of the background and put some I found on google graphics (I think it might be from Diablo merchandise)
