Very good CPU usage

Hi to all, i am new of the forum.

I have tried a lot of games, and i noticed the very good use of CPU usage of kingdom rush.

I am really curious to learn from the most important best practices to decrease the CPU usage of any game i can develop (i am a noob, but i learn fast).

Compliment for the good developing practices u use, never seen a game so smooth and fast also on old pcs.

Hope you can share the most important best practices to reduce the CPU consumption?

ps: you use AS2 or AS3 for the Kingdom Rush?

In that thread you will read the devs. discuss using the display list which is only present in AS3. So its more than a fair guess that they used that version of the language. If you have any other development questions they may probably be answered in that thread.
