On the Dark Tower Iron Challange, the description says "No alrtilery, no mage", but when you play it the Mage is available. And to be honest, I haven't been able to defeat it without using mage. So, is mage usposed to be used on that level or not?

I guess it is not, and the mage tower surely isn't needed. In fact I am one of those very few people who succeeded completing it using only barracks and no premium content

What we do know is that this bug will be fixed in the next update ^^

As Julian pointed out it is a bug that went out with the Sarelgaz update. We have been very busy these days, but we will update it soon and fix it
