Somebody explain this to me

So when i played KRV (golden brewery) and watched vids of it (lightseeker camp)

i saw something weird, on a single lane enemies would go different directions!

Why is this happening? i had only seen this before on bonesburg with bats

In KRV there are pre-wave arrows that indicate direction that wave will be going. It's okay and normal.

Ok... that's dumb because it takes the enemy longer
