tap on the road bubble

Hi everyone:

Today I was playing the first challenge, Southport, on the Iron Challenge.
As I was playing, this little balloon appeared over the road and kept saying "Tap the Road"
I tapped the road forever and nothing happened...is this meant to distract people because it worked. Then I lost.
Or is it a bug? Just curious...I couldn't find anything in the game about it or in the forum.

I should have said that I am playing on the iPad version of the game...

Yes, it was odd. It did it the three times that I played the level.

I had this bubble issue in Southport too. Although after I finished the level it never appeared again in any of the succeeding levels.

This seems to be an iPad bug.

I noticed that, too, when I was doing the elite and iron challenges. It's a remnant from the tutorial that doesn't go away. Every time you tap on the reinforcements button that bubble pops up and doesn't go away.
