I would give you a cookie, but I'm to lazy to go to the trouble of posting a picture of one. So you can have a star. :P

Yes, in the sense that Hyrule is still dangerous even with a sword. Dodongo and Ghoma aren't even hurt by the sword so you may as well not having it when facing them. The old man would have been a lot more useful by saying "It's dangerous to go alone! Take this sword and a bottled fairy. Better have this Mirror Shield too. Wait up, I'm coming too, I know healing spells and all the secrets of Hyrule. Let's gank Ganon together bro! Don't worry about Zelda, you're a total 8 and she'd only a 6 so you're totally in there, and I'll big you up whatever, that's what a Wing Man is for dude."

The only present that I want is for Ironhide to release a new game. And there's a good chance that it's coming soon! :D
This is a great community. I am very grateful to be a part of it, and I hope that it continues to stay this great. I have witnessed some great online communities simply break down, and I truly wish that it will never happen here. :star:

So, what did everybody get for Christmas? I'll share my stuff:

  • The Attack on Titan video game
  • God Eater 2 video game
  • Bloodborne: The Old Hunters DLC
  • IOU money for Iron Marines and all the heroes involved ( :yey: )
  • A lot of clothes, including socks with cartoon cats giving the finger
  • The IPad Pro ( :o )
  • Chocolate
  • 115 USD (+ money from returning the Skryrim official strategy guide, which I don't need)
  • A phone case with my dog, Munchie, on it

My family doesn't spend much money throughout the year, and we save up for really good gifts on Christmas and for birthdays. I bought my family a lot of things, too, which I know they really liked. I'm looking forward to New Year's! :hero:

I didn't get anything...

Where I live, we celebrate Sinterklaas, as well as Christmas. Sinterklaas is that super controversial thing in the Netherlands that got under fire a few years ago because it would be racist. Anyway, it's conceptually almost the same as Christmas, and 5 December is 'presentnight' (roughly translated), which is when the children get presents.

Because the avarage Dutchman doesn't want to buy presents twice, there are no presents with Christmas.

Anyway, I got a 3ds with pokemon moon for Sinterklaas.
I HAVE CHORTLES!

Merry Christmas everyone!

I got up to book 4 of Game of Thrones, and series 3 of the TV show, as well as Captain America civil War. Also some socks and tues because my feet get cold and I'm old now.
Waaay too much chocolate, the obligatory toiletries from estranged relatives, and my dad got me a small Lego set so we could make it together because he misses Lego (it was a Lego snowglobe, which was cool)

However turns out my dad reeally missed Lego because there was a Star Wars Sandcrawler too which I'm only about 1/3 through in two days of work.
