CONTEST: Enemy Combination

The aim of this contest is to combine two enemies into one brand new enemy. Since there are so many enemies, and creating just one would be a short contest, you will have to create four unique enemies. Each entry will be judged separately, meaning the final entries will be done in groups of four.

Entry Requirements

You are required to make the following combinations:

A combination of two enemies from Kingdom Rush into one.
For example: Goblin + Troll

A combination of two enemies from Kingdom Rush: Frontiers into one.
For example: Dune Raider + Sand Hound

A combination of two enemies from Kingdom Rush: Origins into one.
For example: Sword Spider + Gnoll Reaver

A combination of one enemy from each Kingdom Rush game (three total) into one.
For example: Goblin + Dune Raider + Sword Spider
It does not have to be the enemies you have used previously

Enemies are not to be mixed for the first three entries, you must stick to the single game.
For the final entry, you must create a three way fusion taking one enemy from each of the games.

Non-encyclopedia enemies are permitted
Endless Mini-Bosses are permitted
Bosses are not permitted

Entry Form

Use this form for each of your four entries.

Name:
Combination Of:
Appearance:

Health:
Damage:
Armour Rating:
Magic Resistance:
Speed:
Lives Taken:
Bounty:

Abilities:

Lore: This shouldn't be long, but a little background information about your enemy would make it more interesting. No epic stories please, two or three sentences will suffice.

Rules

  • You have 10 days in which to submit your entry. Entries after March 9th will not be counted.
  • All entries must be submitted to me via Private Message.
  • I will accept edits and updates on your entries up until and on the day of the closing date. Please resend the entire entry and I will use your most recent submission.
  • I need your entire entry in one PM. Sections sent separately will not be counted.
  • Any questions, ask and I will do my best to answer.

Are scenery enemies such as the Sand Worm or the Crystal Serpent allowed?
Also, what is the Cerberus counted as? Boss or miniboss? It does act as a boss on PoF, but not on Pandaemonium, so that's a little bit of a unique situation.

No. They don't have any stats and can't be subdued or defeated.

Spawns more than once. Mini-Boss.

Does Jack O Lantern count? He has stats, but can never truly be defeated.

Cool.
But, I would like to ask, will this be judged all as one, or separately depending on category like the Amalgam contest? (I'm guessing all as one)

I see it more of a respawning enemy than one that can't be defeated. You can defeat it for gold and then it respawns again. So yes, that is allowed.

Separately. There will be one voting thread, but like with the amalgam each enemy will have it's own voting category:
Best KR
Best KRF
BEst KRO
Best Three-way

Is anyone else finding this to be an extremely hard contest? I only have one good combination so far.

No. I sent mine a few days ago. On the day the contest was announced in fact. Indeed, while I should've been doing HW.

OK, then. I'll just frantically (and probably futilely) try to force myself to come up with more combinations.

Is it okay if our new enemy has abilities not that related to the two base enemies they came from?

Like, let's say I wanted to mix a Goblin and a Shaman, does the enemy have to have a heal-related ability, or can I just go wild?

Can we also incorporate a small section for our own thoughts into each enemy's descriptions? And a small strategy section? (I fear that some people won't see how mine are balanced without a strategy section.)

Spring boarding off of ninja's point should we specify how a hypothetical level would use our created enemy? For instance somethings like a rocket rider/goblin hybrid would clearly be very fast and probably spammed, while a combination of larger enemies would be used at key moments where your defences are stressed and they may go theough

No, all of those are too much information for all the current entries to go back and re-add to make their wntries the same and fair. The requirements for the entry are what is written in the post, nothing more.
