You can see in this link (question 11) viewtopic.php?f=5&t=104 that no type of multiplayer mode will be included in the sequel

is there some tower defense game with drawbridges ?
it could be another element to make possible a 2player mode for the game..

well imagine that both players can lower/lift up a few drawbridges on certain maps(drawbridges on castles, mountains,rivers or islands), it'd be sort of allowing the player to modify pathways as in Fieldrunners ?
one player could manage the baddies and the other would play as usual with towers, the baddie player would be allowed to stop bosses and groups of enemies for a while on any place of the map, there might be a cooldown bar indicating how long they'd be stopped on that spot before marching again

I would definitely play this if it had random matchmaking using Game Center. Could also get a slow-regenerating special resource (in addition to coin) that could be used for AoE trigger effects, like mob shields, speed/attack boosts for towers/mobs, or to throw lockouts on opponent towers. That would totally take the cake.
