Stage 1 with only a hero

For the King!

Stage 1 with only a hero

by Julian » Thu Nov 01, 2012 11:38 pm

I found out that completing stage 1 (Southport) in campaign mode
at normal difficulty with only a hero (no towers, no spells) is pretty
fun :D At least it is in my eyes. The only hero failing here seems to
be Sir Gerald Lightseeker. King Denas actually seemed most simple,
while I didn't expect that at all. I guess Alleria Swiftwind provides the
best possible 'challenge', although it's still quite easy ^^ Have fun!

I knew it long ago. I beat icewind pass with ignus and barracks only, too easy...

Ditto, iOS had heroes for so long. Beating the first level with them was the most fun I had with 'em.

Yeah, I've had a lot of fun with this before. I'm quite certain the reason Gerald suffers is because he was made for taking on single stein enemies and supporting troops, while all the others have some form of attacking multiple enemies a once.
