The things I observed and noticed about proper Barb tacti...
WHAT? BARBS USE TACTICS!?
THE ONLY TACTICS WE NEED IS:
THIS IS AN AXE,
THIS IS AN ENEMY,
CHOP CHOP!... but besides that:
Barbs versus certain enemies:
1. Armored food cans
- They arent best against them, almost anything else can be better than them
- Barbs work best against armored enemies when they are VERY close together (standing literally on each other to attack target simultaneously)
- More Axes can be handy, they will deal more damage through their armor
- Throwing axes are always good
- Barb huge hp, fast spawn rate and numbers make those fight spots a good choice for raining magma doom (Rain Of Fire)
- Squads of barbs with mage hero can tank armors indefinetely
- Dark Slayers are a pain in thy a...
2. thy demonic kabooms
- Their huge HP works well against their kabooms, lack of armor doesnt matter as demons deal relatively low dmg
- Spread them out, thats the key
- Absolute key abillity here is Axe Throwing, while spread they throw axes to demons that attack neighbouring squads, while not being affected by kabooms. Also upgrading axe throwing increases its range
- 2 or 3 heavily upgraded (More Axes including) squads of barbs can reliably confront devil waves
3. low hp eight-legged spam horrors
- Get at least one level in throwing axes, one axe can take out one small spidey
- They like to eat spiders, chop chop
- More Axes here is abit pointless as they will gain simply too much damage, and thus waste it killing these low hp mobs
- Do not stack your axe throwers, as they will likely waste alot of their throws against single, now dead, spidey
4. Fliers
- during most waves fully upgraded Axe Throw is enough
- Net is simply an addition, or when it comes to truble, a tool of survive (hardly ever, really)
- They can deal with them quite reliably
