Challenge: Last level | Range only | Iron mode

I haven't got a name for this challenge, so suggest below i guess.

Basically go on the last level on iron mode and only use range towers without premium content. In my opinion, its harder than the holy grail challenge! What do you think?

I like the challenge so far ^^
Tried it 7 times... didn't win yet. I only had one dark slayer left and no demon lords at my 7th try though,
so I think I will be able to complete it this weekend =) It's hard but in my opinion a little bit easier
than the holy grail challenge

I tried it so many times. I think the trick is to use sniper shot on the Dark Knights, its so cool seeing them drop in 1 shot! Although a lot of the time the musketeers waste the shot on a skeleton or another week unit.

What I try and do is use shrapnel and wrath of the forest next to the skeletons, and have sniper shot musketeers by the dark knights.

After 7 more tries I am finding it harder than after my first 7 tries...

Lol its really hard. But i finnaly did it! the trick is sniper shot. Keep using it and you should get lucky for it to keep killing the big guys...

This is what I came up with. Sorcerer mages are unupgraded, Muskets have one grapeshot and one sniper upgrade each. I found that it's pretty crucial to get the upgrades for Muskets immediately, as the grapeshots give you the area attack that really helps.

Seeing that Norbz found this challenge harder than the holy grail challenge and uses only ranger towers himself, I am pretty sure I am right.

Oh and I thought about a name. Something with holy would be nice... as it is very similar to the holy grail challenge. What about the 'holy cow' challenge?

I ment only range towers, but the last level on iron mode is still hard. Pretty cool that technique worked.

I'm editing my video, I'm having it like the last one, with epic battle music and the video sped up. The last one was a bit laggy and badly edited, no intro or anything so may re-upload it using hyper cam 3.

Some tips on how to complete it.

- Use sniper shot to kill dark knights and kill them in one.
- So the sniper shots aren't wasted on on skeletons or small units, try to stall them, the sniper shots shoot the person in front, so watch the graveyard!
- Before the necromancers arrive, set up re-enforcement, so they don't summon skeletons, and when they are grouped up, meteor strike them.

You will see it much clearer in my vid, i've been at this for ages because I'm off school... I'm suffering from concusion lol. Whether you see my vid or these tips you'll probably do it anyway! Good luck all!

Just to be clear, you should rename the challenge "Archer only". I tried it again, and this is what I came up with:

From left to right:
-fully upgraded musket
-ranger with full wrath and 1 poison
-fully upgraded musket
-ranger with full wrath
-fully upgraded musket

I barely squeaked by this one, with a clutch reinforce on a Dark Slayer that was just about to escape, and a clutch snipe. Most of my reinforcement went to the graveyard, so I wouldn't have any wasted snipes. Also, I built from left to right. I'm going to try it again, see if I can replicate it...

Nice 1, I used a simular tactic, didn't think of poison, i never really use poison tbh... Good Idea though! i imagen it would kill dark knights well

I tried using level 3 poison but that barely worked against dark slayers...
I like the 'Holy Shot' though

i treid it with archers and mages.... i beat it first try....... it was close a few times, but i got there just in time. i only had 5 towers and never bought more after i started the wave.. 1of each kind of mage and archer...+1 extra sorcerer mage

But the challenge is with only archers ;_;
